The Calm Before the Storm

I have had some time since I have been back to DC to catch up with a lot of things... sleep, cleaning, and so many little errands. It has been good to have time, but about now I am going crazy and I am looking forward to classes starting.
Time is kind of funny. I mean, what happened to 2005? What an odd year. I was in college, and then I wasn't. Sounds simple, but that is a weird thing to think about for some reason. It had my last semester at Whitman, which was weird because everyone knew they were about to leave and kind of excited and scared, but also trying to hang out before it was too late. And then it was the summer, when most people didn't really know what they were doing. And then it was the fall (similar to the summer). And now it is a new year. This year has no college. I think that means that that stage of my life is officially over. Only to replaced by MORE school :)
By the way, a huge congratulations to Vince and Michell, who are engaged to be married in the summer of 2007. yay!
Anyway, another thing that has been accomplished during this time off is that I finally made it through all of my pictures from my time in Seattle. See some highlights above. I prefer to be a perfectionist about the pictures, but the blogger takes so long to load them that I will just leave them as it.
First you see, from top left, Fellow Whitties Eva, Leslie, and Jolene; Mom and my Uncle Brad; Jenny and Dan when we went cross country skiing; Dad, Michell, Vince, Kristen, Marc, Kristin on Christmas Day; and high school friends Kathleen, Marissa, Diana, Austine, me, Jenny, and Martha
