Back in D.C.
So, after an unexcusably long absence from my dear blog, I am back. I had a wonderful time in Seattle, during which I was able to spend time with both friends and family. I got to cross country ski, run, hike, and then be sore for days on end. I had coffee, pizza, burgers, and crab cakes. I had beer, pop, juice, and egg nog. I saw high school friends, college friends, and any other friends I could find. Good times were had by all.
You may be wondering about my plans. I will be attending the University of Maryland. Class start January 25th. I have not finished registering because I need to get some advice first, but I have signed up for a couple of math classes to flush out my math background. This is exciting! But also terrifying.
I just finished Life of Pi. I LOVED this book. Pretty much couldn't put it down. It was nice to think about the philisophical side of life again, because sometimes it doesn't get as much attention from me as it should.
I am going to Les Miserables tonight with Will. I am also excited for that. Oh, and Will started back up at the Senate Finance Committee yesterday, this time as a research assistant.
